Forensics/Speech/Scholastics Team Feb. 10-22

The Forensics team placed 1^st overall in their competition at Harrisonburg High School on Feb. 22. Senior Carrie Domenic placed 1^st in Storytelling and freshman Julianne Bryant came in 3^rd. “Taking first place was really exciting because it was my first one ever,” said Domenic. Senior Jamie Hall and junior Zach Dobrin continued this winning trend by placing 1^st in Serious Duo and junior Kara Kline and sophomore Dominique Smith got 3^rd. In Humorous Duo, senior Aaron Brock and junior Erin Edgerton placed 3^rd. Senior Jordan Nazar placed 2^nd in Humorous Interpretation and junior Mary Milton came in 3^rd. In Serious Interpretation, senior Darien Tinsley placed 2^nd and sophomore Jonathan Corbin placed 1^st in Extemporaneous. In Original Oratory, senior Hannah Corbin came in 3^rd and junior Casey Johnson placed 2^nd. And senior Zach Hazel placed 2^nd in Prose.
