Do you want to sit in the end zone, be catered to, and see every pass and touchdown up close and personal, all while not sitting on hard bleachers?  You could get all that by just entering a raffle!

The Student Government Association (SGA) is selling $2 raffle tickets to students and community members who want a chance to win the opportunity to be treated like royalty at a home football game. “They get the best seat in the house,” said Tyler Wilcher, a senior in SGA.  Thanks to a generous couch donor, SGA made a way for one lucky Fluco Fan (and guest) to be treated like a king at home games.

Each home game will bring a new raffle and new winners, with the winner and one guest getting two free tickets to the game, plus free drinks and pizza delivered to them in the end zone.  The couch will be covered with a quilt made of Fluco shirts.

The winners will be announced at the Fluco tailgates before the games on Friday nights.  When entering the raffle, contestants give their phone numbers and will be called if they win.

Tickets are being sold to students during all lunches and at home football games, and will be sold to the community as well during home games.  SGA will walk through the stands to get people to enter.  Half of the profits will go to the SGA and the other half will go to Fluvanna Athletics.  “We wanted to benefit the athletes along with [SGA],” said senior Madalyn Guthrie.
