The Fluco Power Team had a very successful competition at the Arnold Schwarzenegger Sport Festival in Columbus, Ohio March 5-8. The weight-lifting team finished with the top three girls’ teams and a first and third place finish for the boys’ team. The following students were stand outs at the competition:

First place girls:  Toria Belew and Erin Blackburn

Second place girls:  Meghan Copenhaver and Lexi Scott

Third place girls:  Gwyneth Herndon and Malaina Paige

First place boys:  Beau Guard and Ian Dillon

Third place boys:  Hunter Wheatley and Adam Eckert

The Fluco Power Team is a high school club designed to help athletes improve their strength, speed, and overall power for any sport. Coach Steven Szarmach and Coach Devin Watkins make it their mission to hone each athlete’s talents through weightlifting workouts and drills.
