Elizabeth Pellicane’s Journalism class produces the “Fluvannual” yearbook and The Fluco Beat student website. “I love being so involved, and I enjoy being a part of a class with such great people,” said sophomore Audrey Dickinson, who is in her first year in Journalism.

Sophomore Austin Martin writes articles for The Fluco Beat website. Students write articles on an online platform called FLOW. “Writing about the MLB World Series was fun,” said Martin.

Senior Taylor Stringer, who is in her second year in Journalism, works with yearbook editors Molly Cook, Carson Johnston, and Cecily McMillian. “Something I like about working on the yearbook is being a part of a team with such hardworking people,” said Stringer.

Journalism students spend a lot of time taking photos for articles and yearbook pages. “It’s just so great to be able to work on such an important thing that people will look at for years to come,” Dickinson said.

Junior Maliah Payne looks at the cross country and golf yearbook page that she is creating. “I like getting to know lots of people while getting quotes, and it’s fun taking pictures,” Payne said.
