Senior Gina Madison flies past sophomore Alyssa Lewis, while senior Emmalyn Whyte follows Lewis’ footsteps to catch the flag. “Of course, I would say we played really hard. We started to play as a team and even though we lost the first game we came back and played our hearts out. That’s when we had the most fun by far. It was a great game for our last year,” said Whyte.

Here, junior Makyia Damron gets ready to start a play against the freshman. The junior team brought energy into the game, as they were looking to advance to the next round. “It felt great being able to win two years in a row, especially against people that are equally as competitive. It took a lot of teamwork and I hope we are able to have the same outcome as these past two years,” Damron said.

Senior Kameren Green cheers for his class in the final round between the Juniors and Seniors. “Even though we lost the game, it was fun to cheer and watch with my friends,” Green said.

The Junior class took a team picture together after winning Powderpuff. This is the second year in a row the class of 2026 won. “It is nice to come in first place back to back in Powderpuff because our whole grade comes together and supports each other to defy the odds,” said junior Ryllen Beasley.
