On Oct. 17, the Fluvanna Boys Varsity Football team defeated Orange 42-8 at home. This victory marked Fluco’s third consecutive win and improved their season record to 4-3.
The offensive line, including juniors Jake Heatwole, Tyler Goode, Connor Peterson, Braddock Morris, and senior Hayden Marchant, contributed to nearly 350 rushing yards. The starting defense limited the Hornets to just 15 rushing yards.
“I’m proud of these young men, their commitment to the system, and the dominant win versus Orange. If we play a clean, focused, and physical game, we expect another solid victory,” said Football Head Coach Mitchell Pace, who shared some of his thoughts on the earlier part of the football season on Oct. 15.
