The annual 8th-grade dance will be held on Sept. 26 from 8–10 pm in the FCHS Auxiliary Gym. The dance provides 8th graders with their own opportunity to dress up and have fun with their friends since they are not allowed to attend the Homecoming dance. Students must be in “good standing” academically and have no discipline issues to purchase a ticket.
Dress for the dance is semi-formal, which may include wearing nice pants, dresses, skirts, or button-down shirts. Students from the Student Government Association (SGA) will DJ the event.
“This is always one of the best dances of the year. Be sure to come out for the fun,” said SGA teacher David Small.
Tickets will be on sale during lunches the week of Sept. 22–26. Tickets cost $10 each.
