The Fluvanna Performing Arts Department will hold the holiday musical “A Charlie Brown Christmas” on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 6:00 p.m. in the FCHS Auditorium. The performance will feature the 8th grade Musical Theatre classes taught by Sara Harkrader and Craig Edgerton. The show follows the Peanuts characters—Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Snoopy, and others—celebrating the true meaning of Christmas. The production will include both acting and singing, and will last approximately 35 minutes.
“The students in these classes have both me and Mr. Edgerton, and they learn drama and singing skills to put on this show. I also have a senior intern, Nona Frye, who is playing piano for some of the songs in the show,” said Harkrader.
The performance is open to the public and admission is free.
