The second week of M(art)ch Madness voting for the AP Art History competition has begun, and students and staff continue making tough decisions between countless art styles and mediums. The voting often isn’t simple, with wholly different artworks being matched against each other, such as the grand Chartres Cathedral and the famous painting, Earth’s Creation.
This randomized mix of styles makes for a voting challenge and displays the impact of art across the globe. The original 64 choices have already been narrowed down to 32 pieces after last week’s voting.

“There’s no right answer, but I decided on the pieces that were most visually interesting to me,” said senior Karley Johnson.
Voting for round 2 began on March 9 and ends on March 12 at 3 p.m. You can vote now through the M(art)ch Madness form.
