SGA Announces CTE Spirit Week Feb. 17-20

SGA has announced that Feb. 17-20 will be a spirit week highlighting Career and Technical Education (CTE) fields taught at FCHS. The spirit days will be as follows:

Tuesday, Feb. 17 – Agriculture & Carpentry/Denim Day – Dress in all jeans

Wednesday, Feb. 18 – Business & Cosmetology/Blazers & Ties and/or Crazy Hair Day

Thursday, Feb. 19 – Culinary & Healthcare/Aprons, Scrubs or Active Wear

Friday, Feb. 20 – Video Productions/Favorite TV, Movie, or Concert Shirt

“We are keeping track of spirit points during lunches at the “lemonade stand” in the cafeteria and are doing lunch games on Fridays! We will also be having a pep rally on Friday before the winter formal,” Said Molly McCall.

The CTE theme also coordinates with CTE Night, which will be held Feb. 17 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Cafeteria. Parents and students are welcome, and all student attendees will be entered in a raffle for prizes.

“This event is a chance to explore the incredible opportunities available through our CTE programs–including industry certifications, internships, and hands-on career pathways. Local business professionals, colleges, universities, and representatives from the U.S. Armed Forces will be on-site to share resources, answer questions, and connect with our community,” said Pathways Adviser Anjoleigh Schindler.
