This week, Fluco TV released a video showcasing the work on the 9th annual Hands On Fluvanna on March 28. TV Production and SGA teacher David Small noted that Hands On Fluvanna was modeled after Virginia Tech’s Big Event and was pleased by student’s and staff’s support of it. This year, students who participated in Hands On Fluvanna mulchedĀ various locations around the county, cleaned Scottsville Baptist Church, made cards for those in need, and picked up trash. “The shape of the day has morphed over the years with this student-created and led project. We are happy that so many clubs, classes, residents, and community organizations were able to participate this year,” said Small.
FCHS hopes to host this event for many years to come, and graciously hopes that the local Fluvanna community will continue to support it.
