The annual 8th Grade Dance on Oct. 25 was attended by approximately 60 students in the Annex Gym. The dance ran from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. with music provided by a group of SGA students. The money raised from ticket sales will go toward supporting future SGA activities and events.
“Since it was my first year, I had a lot of fun,” said dance attendee Sarah Bond ’29. “There were times when I was bored, but that was because a lot of people weren’t there. The music was good, and overall, the dance was very fun,” she added.
SGA member Sophia Stewart, one of the event organizers, said, “My favorite part is seeing everything come together. When SGA is in the gym before the dance starts, testing out the music and smoke machine, those are the memories I’ll cherish forever. It shows how well SGA works as a team, and it’s always rewarding to see all our hard work pay off.”
