Beneath the veil of night’s embrace
A tempest stirs
A silent space
Where shadows dance and fears converse
A fragile heart
A fractured dream
But here again
The dawn, its golden art
Will mend the cracks
Will heal the heart
The sun will rise
It always does
Through shattered skies
Through what once was
A symphony of light departs the dark
A new day starts, a blazing spark
Eclipsed by doubt
Your weary eyes
Can scarcely see
Where hope resides
And again time
A patient architect
Will build anew
All grief neglects
So trust the clock
Its steady chime
It whispers hope
It sings of time
Though the night may bite
It won’t consume
Tomorrow’s light
Conceals the gloom
