Led by yet another new coach, Michael Gore, on Feb. 5 the Flucos of the mat trooped into a match against FUMA making their presence felt. “We all had decent matches,” said junior wrestler Donnie Wilson, “[but] I still feel we could have done a little better.” The guys strive to succeed in the world of high school wrestling, constantly working. “Though it may not have been one of our greatest performances, the boys showed a lot of heart and determination in their matches, whether win or loss,” said Coach Gore. The boys wrestle again on Feb. 14 and 15 at Eastern View High School.
