Last semester, Rosa Lee Fry’s Graphics 1 & 2 students paired with Sara Harkrader’s Piano classes to create art inspired by music and music inspired by art.
One example is the artwork pictured here, where artwork created by Graphics student Sean Brown was used to inspire music written by Piano student Maya Hernandez.
To take the cross-department collaboration further, students in Elizabeth Pellicane’s Creative Writing class for spring semester will be writing stories inspired by the artwork/music collaborations.
