Waiting patiently in the corner 

ready to accompany me,

The vast expanse of space

waiting to be free

To bundle up my necessities 

keeping them safe and ready, 

the click-click of the rolling wheels

Sounds promising and steady.

soaking up the fresh air

enjoying the chance to be 

on another adventure

oh the things that we will see.

Time moves too fast

nothing lasts forever 

back to the corner it returns 

until the next time we travel together.
