Fluco Swim and Dive Place at States
February 28, 2023
The Fluco Swim and Dive team had some strong performances Feb. 16-17 at States. The boys team finished 23rd in the state with 27 points, while the girls team finished 11th in the state with 91 points.
Following are the individuals who earned state points:
Ethan McPherson – 7th place – State Dive
Sarah Beth Robinson – 8th – State Dive
Ivan Patchett – 9th – State Dive
Ashlyn Wolkowicz – 11th – State Dive
Vaile Altherr, Abbie Ford, Marley Rochester, & Sophie Pace – 13th place in 400 relay – State Swim
Abbie Ford, Alex Fuller, Sophie Pace, & Reese Yowell – 12th place in 200 medley relay – State Swim
Reese Yowell, Brenna Rea, Sophie Pace, & Alex Fuller – 8th place in 200 free relay – State Swim
Jackson Kinsella – 11th place in 100 Freestyle – State Swim.
Alex Fuller – 2nd place in 50 free and 2nd place in 100 butterfly – State Swim
Swim Coach Mitchell Pace that Fuller narrowly missed her sister’s record, and set a new FCHS record in the butterfly, white also earning points on two relay teams.
