Debate Teams Most Successful Season

The Fluvanna County High School Debate Team has done more than leaving their mark this school year. The debate team traveled to JMU on the weekend of April 23 for the State Championship competition.
All students placed in their events. These students include:
Jackson Kinesella- 3rd in Student Congress.
Caroline Fields and Riley Yowell- second in Public Forum
Ashlyn Fayard and Callie Taylor- first in Policy (Policy also recognizes top speakers, Ashlyn won third and Callie finished first.)
This marks the first-ever state win for Fluvanna County High School’s debate team.
