Was Kimye spotted at Paris fashion week? Should we care?

Paris Fashion Week is a popular celebration held in Paris, France, each year, and this year’s event took place from Feb. 28 to March 8. But instead of the focus being on fashion, it was on something entirely different: Kimye.

The “ship” name for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Kimye should have been a sideshow. After all, Fashion Week usually showcases a variety of designers and celebrities who love appearing on the catwalk, often wearing the fashions of their favorite designers.

Sure enough, one of the most notable appearances of the event was Kim, who wore a Balenciaga look. The skintight catsuit, made completely of yellow packaging tape labeled with the brand’s name, was eye-catching. Designer Demna Gvasalia, who was said to be the mastermind behind Balenciaga’s current collection, previously styled Kim at the Met Gala, as well as for her appearance on Saturday Night Live.
Kanye, Kim’s recently divorced husband also made appearances at Paris Fashion week with girlfriend Julia Fox. West and Fox wore matching looks to each event they attended. At the Kenzo show, the couple wore all-denim outfits which borderline-copied the looks of Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears when they attended the event in 2001. Kanye and Fox made waves by continuing to match and coordinate at the other two events they attended.

But what Kimye fans really wanted to know was this: What was the relationship between Kanye and Kim throughout the week?
The couple divorced on March 2, although Cosmopolitan magazine reported that Kardashian had been filing for the divorce since 2021. The spotlight on their split, along with Kanye’s reported mental health issues, has created tremendous drama within the public eye. Their relationship seems to be pretty hostile, especially after Kanye’s new music video release which depicts a clay model of Pete Davidson, Kim’s new love interest, being tied up and buried. The lyrics within the song “Eazy” state, “God saved me from that crash, just so I could beat Pete Davidson’s a**.”

Despite the continuous drama between Kim and Kanye, no contact between the two was detected while they were both residing in Paris for Fashion Week, to the disappointment of some fans.

Kanye’s posts regarding Kim, Davidson, his children, and the divorce have captured the world in pop culture news. Recently, though, Kanye deleted all of his Instagram posts in which he spoke out about his issues with Kim. Now, many fans and followers are left wondering, where does Kimye stand in their relationship? No one can say for sure, but since the two never had contact while residing in the same city last week, we can assume there is no possibility of Kim and Kanye rejoining in love.
