Four Great Albums You Should Listen To

November 23, 2021

If you are a heavy music listener like me, here are some great albums to listen to. These albums range from different genres and years. So, bear with me as I give you some new tunes to listen to or reintroduce you to these great songs. You can listen to these albums on Apple Music or Spotify.

First up is Adele’s album “25,” which came out in 2015 with eleven songs, with the lead single being Hello. This album was about Adele’s divorce from her husband and how she fell out of love with him but wishes she could stay in love with him for the sake of their son. This album went on to win a Brit Award for 2016 and a Grammy in 2017. The British singer has won eighteen awards.

Second is Ariana Grande’s album “Positions,” which came out in 2020 with nineteen songs, with the lead single being Positions. This album is fun and bubbly and about healing from the scars of her past. This album is currently nominated for an AMA for 2021 and nominated for one Grammy this year. Ariana has gone on to win 175 awards throughout her career.

This next album is Bo Burnham’s “Inside (The Songs),” which came out early this year with only nine songs and no lead single. This album follows the comedian’s Netflix special called “Inside” which was nominated for five Emmys and won two out of the five. Bo goes on about how he feels about the pandemic and how his mental health has been throughout 2020 and 2021. He is, of course, a comedian, so most of his songs are silly and have no meaning, but most of them are still funny but have a dark twist to them.

Lastly, we have Melanie Martinez’s “Cry Baby” album, which came out in 2015 with sixteen songs, the lead single being Pity Party. This album is all over the place but in a good way. (If you’re a fan of Melanie, then you know what I mean). Her songs have a dark story but have a catchy and bubbly beat, so it sounds like a horror story. Martinez went on to an Artist of the Year award in 2017 and was nominated for a few Billboard Music Awards.
