I reflect the truth
Good and bad
People don’t like the truth
They don’t like me
They look at me and see themselves
Every wrinkle
Every freckle
People cry when we’re alone
Even ones who say they don’t
They do in front of me
I distort
You see me and paint on your mask
Hiding your truth
Flawlessly fake
But I see the tear running down your cheek
You can’t hide from me
