quiet, too quiet
though not anymore
thoughts too loud
breaking down the door
of my newly formed will
and my strength not yet formed
of my taking a stand
and my confidence, stormed

the voices subside
the quiet is back
nothing is left
in this powerless black
suddenly alone
in my dark, hopeless hole
