State Swim and Dive Performances

The Fluvanna County Swim and Dive team competed at States on Feb. 19.
According to Swim and Dive coach Mitchell Pace, many FLUCO students competed in the tournament. “Earning a spot on the podium, getting medals for their efforts, and winning points for the team were Ahmad Woodson, Alex Fuller, Gus Jones, Jacob Ondek, Anne Charlotte Robinson, Ally Lounsbury, Vaile Altherr, Anthony Caruso, Jackson Kinsella, John Layne, & Sarah Beth Robinson. Other key contributors were Abbie Ford, Tyler Davis, Mitchell Messier, and Brandon Watkins,” mentioned Pace.
Pace also included that the Boys group finished in 6th place statewide and the Girls finished in 14th place.
All three divers that attended States received medals, including, Sarah Beth Robinson (7th place), Jacob Ondek (4th place) and John Layne (2nd place).
