The Media Center Gets New Life

Looking for something new to read? Thanks to the hard work of librarians Lisa Lucas and Shannon Taylor, as well as other FCHS teachers and students who worked last fall’s Barnes & Noble book sale, the Media Center has been able to stock their shelves with over $1,200 worth of new Manga, prose, and non-fiction books. It’s been a welcome development, since many of the library’s books and Manga were starting to get dilapidated and it had been years since they had had new books.  

The shipment contains novels and resources which bridge the gaps in the Media Center’s resources, either by completing book series or providing materials on subjects they didn’t already have, such as astronaut Neil Armstrong. New books and materials include:
